Making life choices is always hard, A duo gives a good advice on how to make choices from the end of life. Pretending you are already in the end of your life, like a true 85 years' old person, and live your life to the fullest. In 2005, A Duo rose to fame as one of mainland China’s pioneering singer-dancers, performing on the CCTV Spring Festival Gala and earning a spot on the Forbes Celebrity List for three consecutive years.At the height of her career in 2012, she made a bold decision to leave the entertainment industry and return to her hometown in Xiangxi, where she began a deep study of intangible cultural heritage.After five years of quiet dedication, A Duo made a powerful comeback in 2017 with the album Resurrected from Death.In 2020, A Duo gained widespread public attention through the hit reality show Sisters Who Make Waves, introducing new ethnic music to a mainstream audience. At the end of 2024, she wrote, directed, and starred in Born with Pride, the first original stage production centered on intangible cultural heritage, telling the story of modern womanhood through indigenous aesthetics. The show received the Bazaar Art Project of the Year award. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
