In particolare, negli ultimi 10 anni si dedica alle persone transgender, affiancandole nel loro cammino verso la ricerca di una identità più vicina al loro sentire.
L’esperienza maturata con l’attività ospedaliera e la chirurgia ricostruttiva riveste una grande importanza nell’approccio alla medicina e chirurgia estetica, che Giulia lo russo considera un’attività molto seria, raffinata, il cui punto di arrivo è rappresentato dalla realizzazione della richiesta del paziente nella massima sicurezza e nel rispetto della sua identità, individualità e naturalezza.
