Roy challenges us to rethink learning, arguing that it should extend beyond traditional classroom settings. He emphasises the importance of experiential learning, which fosters authentic connections and relationships with ideas and people. By embracing learning outside the classroom, we can find inspiration and a genuine desire to continue our educational journeys. Roy is a thoughtful and witty 15-year-old in Year 10 at in Shanghai Pudong. He has a passion for learning—especially about transportation, aviation, and plane/trainspotting. Roy loves to travel, hang out with friends, and learns best when he combines these interests. At school, he shines in drama, taking the stage in musicals and plays. With his smooth voice, he has added TEDx to his bucket list and is excited to share his insights.
