Chip “Make in Vietnam”: VIẾT TIẾP GIẤC MƠ CỦA CHA ANH | Vinh Quang Nguyễn | TEDxFTU Hanoi
From a dream nurtured over four decades by our ancestors, Vietnam's journey to conquer the global semiconductor industry has been concretized through countless efforts, filled with both opportunities and challenges. At ???? ???????? ????, Mr. Nguyen Vinh Quang - Founder and CEO of FPT Semiconductor, guided the audience on a journey back in time to reflect on this path to the present day.
Vietnam now once again is trying to conquer the world with “semiconductor chips”. The audience was captivated by the journey to conquer the global semiconductor industry through three significant phases, starting with the Z181 Factory and culminating in FPT's PMIC chips... Moreover, in today's era, Vietnam stands at the precipice of securing a position on the global semiconductor map, and to realize this ambitious goal, the greatest opportunity lies with Vietnam's youth.
With “Make in Vietnam” chips, Mr. Quang believes that Vietnam's young generation will continue the 40-year journey and fulfill the dream of our ancestors! In 2022, Nguyen Vinh Quang established FPT Semiconductor, carrying on the long-held ambition of producing "Make in Vietnam" semiconductors. This venture has resulted in the creation of the first microchips for IoT applications in the healthcare sector, marking a significant breakthrough in affirming Vietnam's technological prowess.
Moreover, FPT has selected Power Management IC (PMIC) design for IoT devices. Often considered the heart of electronic devices, PMIC ensures their smooth operation. These achievements have even extended to international markets like Japan, Korea, Taiwan, the US, Europe, and China, elevating Vietnam's standing in the global semiconductor industry.
With over a decade of experience and as a visionary leader, Mr. Nguyen Vinh Quang has driven FPT Semiconductor to achieve remarkable feats, from designing and developing various semiconductors to cultivating a talented engineering team and fostering international partnerships. Maria Paula is a psychologist. - 14:58Empathy is not what you think — and that’s the problem | Maria Alejandra Espinosa | TEDxTES YouthEmpathy is often seen as something soft, emotional, even optional, a nice-to-have in a world ruled by logic and efficiency. But what if we’ve misunderstood its real power? Empathy, when redefined, can become a driving force behind meaningful, lasting change. It should not only be seen as a feeling, but as a tool for questioning, understanding, and rebuilding the systems around us. Maria Alejandra is a 10th Grade TES student. A veces, revela. Lucia Caceres is an 8th Grade TES student. - 14:58Why your purpose goes beyond you | Juan Sebastian Poveda | TEDxTES YouthSome ideas remind us that personal growth is never just personal. That the fire that drives us, when nurtured with honesty and persistence, can lead to something greater—something that extends quietly beyond our own ambitions. In a world that often pushes us to chase success for its own sake, we forget that real purpose doesn’t need to be loud or heroic. It simply asks to be true. Our combined passions naturally propel us forward when we pursue our purpose with clarity and consistency — revealing that staying true to it might be the most generous gift we can offer the world.
