What Can We Learn From The Story of The Unabomber? | Tymon Adamkiewicz Wolniak | TEDxYouth@2SLO
I'VE BEEN GIVEN THE LOVELY HONOUR OF PRESENTING YOU A SPEECH, AND THE TOPIC I'D LIKE TO PRESENT YOU WITH IS THE HIGHLY PROBLEMATIC STORY AND INTELLECTUAL WORKS OF TED KACZYNSKI, OTHERWISE KNOWN UNDER THE NAME OF THE UNABOMBER. WHAT MADE HIM TURN FROM A MATHEMATICAL PRODIGY INTO A TERRORIST RECLUSE? IS THERE ANYTHING OF VALUE IN HIS MANIFESTO? HOW TO EVEN SEARCH FOR VALUE IN SUCH TEXTS? IN MY SPEECH I'LL TRY TO ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS AND HOPEFULLY NOT MAKE YOU FALL ASLEEP. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU ALL! HI GUYS I'M TYMON! I'M A DPT STUDENT AT 2SLO IB, BUT THE THINGS I LIKE DOING INCLUDE WATCHING MOVIES (ESPECIALLY THE WEIRD ONES), TRYING TO MAKE MOVIES (BETWEEN CATCHING UP ON MY 50 OVERDUE IB ASSIGNMENTS) AND TAKING PHOTOS. OTHER THAN THAT, I AM QUITE A BIT INTO PHILOSOPHY AND POLITICAL STUFF, SO I ALSO ATTEND MUNS AND LIKE TO READ CONTROVERSIAL TEXTS, HENCE THE ТОРІС.
