Tech for Good: Coding a Kinder Future | Shichen LIU | TEDxPennon Qingdao Youth

After watching my visually-impaired neighbor bump into walls while hunting for the library, my keyboard became my toolbox. With Python, OpenCV, I someday want to build “Care Click” and “Sound Path,” turning code into gentle voices that provide people with safety. Today I’ll show how zeros and ones can weave safety nets, open doors, and prove that the smartest programs run on compassion. My name is Rex, and I am an 11-year-old boy who loves reading, drawing, and playing football. I can enjoy myself in the big game. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
