Hacer una transición energética justa, no es desde el escritorio, sino desde el territorio. Diego Patrón Arcila es un ingeniero mecánico colombiano con una destacada trayectoria en el sector energético, reconocido por su liderazgo en el desarrollo de proyectos de energía renovable en el país. Desde 2010, se ha desempeñado como Gerente del Proyecto Jemeiwaa Kai de AES Colombia, donde lidera uno de los clústeres eólicos más ambiciosos del continente, ubicado en La Guajira.Diego ha impulsado proyectos que suman más de 1,1 gigavatios de capacidad instalada, superando desafíos regulatorios, técnicos y de relacionamiento comunitario en una de las regiones más complejas del país. Bajo su dirección, el proyecto Jemeiwaa Kai ha asumido un enfoque pionero, desarrollando parques eólicos en un contexto normativo aún en construcción y marcando el camino para futuros desarrollos energéticos en Colombia. Diego ha liderado procesos de consulta previa ejemplares y ha promovido esquemas de beneficio compartido.
