Amidst the hustle of the modern city, new ideas are emerging to create greener and more sustainable public spaces.
Daliana Suryawinata and Florian Heinzelmann are an Indonesian-Germany architect couple behind the studio SHAU. From their personal experience growing up in a different environment, they are committed to urban designs that are more inclusive and people-centered.Daliana and Florian began every piece with deep research and engaged in dialogue with residents. They love exploring various local materials, building prototypes into practice, and developing it alongside the community. Through this collaborative approach, their designs are more than just aesthetically appealing, but also come into life with those who use it. Ultimately, it transforms into a vibrant, eco-friendly, and beneficial public space. At school one of my favourite subject is Music, because I love playing the ukulele.
