En 1990 ingresó a PepsiCo Argentina (División Bebidas), como gerente de Finanzas y Planeamiento para Sudamérica. Durante los 14 años en PepsiCo, terminó su carrera como presidente de Pepsicola y vicepresidente de Franquicias para Sudamérica. Luego, entre el 2004 y el 2006 se desempeñó como Gerente General de Natura Cosméticos S.A. En marzo de 2007 Alejandro asumió su cargo de director ejecutivo de Cámara de Comercio EEUU- Argentina.
